Purpose is a Southern Baptist Christian church. This is a place where it’s okay to not be okay—you can come as you are and you belong here! Purpose is a great place to meet new people, grow in your faith, and leave encouraged.
Purpose has a casual atmosphere where everyone is accepted, no matter what they have done or where they have been. Typically, people dress in casual clothes. Check out some of our photos on our Instagram pages (linked at the top of this page) to see that Purpose really is a church where you can come as you are!
Our weekend experiences last about an hour and fifteen minutes and includes live worship and Bible-based teaching.

In Purpose Kids, we have a structured experience for all kids from babies to 5th grade. We offer experience which includes biblical teaching, worship, interactive games, a monthly memory verse, prayer time, and small group time. Our biblical teaching is based on the discipleship-focused HyFi curriculum.
For our middle school and high schoolers, we have Purpose Youth. This environment is a great place for your teenager to get connected with other kids their age and learn more about growing their relationship with Jesus. Purpose Youth happens every Wednesday night at our Newhall campus from 7-8:30pm. To find out more, visit the youth Instagram page.
We are passionately committed to providing care and relief throughout all our of church communities and beyond. We have Celebrate Recovery at our North Hollywood location every Friday night at 7pm helping people overcome their hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
We also partner with After Hours, an anti human trafficking organization that was birthed from our church and is passionate about rescuing women and children from human trafficking and providing them with the necessary skills and resources for a new life.
